The Nesar Shoulder Slide is a very effective rehabilitation tool that can improve ROM (range of motion), strength, and stability of an injured shoulder. This device can also be used as a proper warm-up exercise or to isolate certain muscles of the shoulder girdle for non-injured individuals as well.

I have used the Nesar Shoulder Slide as a key component to my shoulder programs. This device helps speed recovery in gaining early range of motion , and then allowing for a smooth and easy transition into strengthening. The Nesar Shoulder Slide has been an impressive piece of equipment.

The shoulder rehabilitation device by Nesar Systems, Inc. has permitted a higher and more complete rehabilitation of glenohumeral/scapular injuries. This simple to use device enables earlier transition from supine to horizontal plane activities. It allows sufficient scapular stabilization so that glenohumeral movement patterns can be effectively isolated.

Additionally, it allows the weakened upper extremity to function without the compressive forces known to cause imingement problems that can complicate or delay progress.

"After years of playing sports, Tennis in particular, I developed a severe shoulder impingement problem. I was in constant pain and had limited rotation and extension. Three years of healing than re-injuring my shoulder did me no good. Then I began using the Nesar Shoulder Slide. After only three weeks of using the slide, my inflammation started to subside. Pain from my impingement lessened and my overall flexibility improved. What impressed me most was that all the improvements that where gained were not lost. I continued to improve my condition until my shoulder is now back to what it once was. I'm playing Tennis again and happy to report I'm still pain free".

I am a physician who had a left rotator cuff surgery on January 31, 2003. The recovery period for this is usually quite long. I started

my rehab/strength training six weeks after my surgery. I was introduced to the shoulder slide machine by my physical therapist. I had a dramatic and immediate improvement in my shoulder strength.

Within four weeks I had complete recovery of my strength and my range of motion was at 100 percent. I am certain that without the

dynamic design and biofeedback designed into the shoulder slide I would not be able to make these claims. I am currently recommending the shoulder slide for all my patients with shoulder injuries and shoulder surgery. I endorse the shoulder slide 100 percent.

Using the Nesar Shoulder Slide has enabled patients with rotator cuff weaknesses to advance more rapidly and with less pain. The adjusting levels permits an effective means to have gradual progress despite the severity of the disability or level of involvement. The incremental increases in resistance allows patients to witness more improvement and with less pain.

The patient naturally is more encouraged about their performance and is much more diligent about performing the exercises. The device's defined planes of motion permit better stabilization of the scapula and thus less substitution. The device has had a profound impact on patients having difficulty with the transition from a non-gravity to a gravity activity.

After working with your machine I found an early return to range of motion of the shoulder without putting any stress on the soft tissue structures around the joint or on the recent rotator cuff repairs.

Patients enjoyed placement of the hand on the shoulder slide in that it did apply approximation to the glenohumeral joint, which allowed compression to the joint while the rotator cuff was healing and not putting stress on the joint.

In summary, after working with the machine, our orthopedic surgeons have found it very successful also and that the patient's are no longer complaining of anterior shoulder pain with the forward flexion motion.
